who said money can't buy happiness?

I made a quick trip to the thrift store today (I swear I was just there to drop off some stuff) and found a few gems.

First off this t-shirt for only $1.99. It's too small, but how could I resist? I know it will live a new life as something else.

The question is What WOULDN'T Chuck Norris Do?

Next we have this gorgeous hand embroidered polyester pillowcase. Only $1.50.

Pillowcase

I'm such a sucker for hand crafted items that end up in thrift stores. I somehow feel like they need a home.

I have to say that this next item is the item of the day. Lucky for me, it was 'bric-a-brac 50% off' day! So this creepy squirrel with only one googly eye was only 50 cents! Hideous AND practical! I happened to need some new measuring spoons and this fit the bill and then some. As a former resident of Reno, I knew this awful thing was just waiting for me to find it.

There is even a little place to keep your rings when you are doing whatever you do in the kitchen. I didn't even bother to clean off the dust for your visual enjoyment. Apparently this has never been used. It still had the MADEIN JAPAN sticker on the red tablespoon.

Rings

$3.99 WELL SPENT!
