Now with more kitsch!
Oops! Have I really been away that long? I guess I could say I've been busy, and that would be mostly true. I promise to make it up to you. ;)
Guess I'll start by posting some recent thrift SCORES! I was thrilled to find all of this gorgeous kitsch in one thrift store and splurged (I think they were $1.99 each?).
This first item is a souvenir shot glass caddy. Your shot glass will never go missing again with this handy and decorative device.
I also found the world's most disturbing ashtray. Souvenir of the 'World Famous' Tree House, Redwood Hwy. California. I don't smoke, but does that really matter?
Fuzzy baby deer pen caddy. 'Nuff said.
Best of all, I am pleased to announce that all of this beauty got me the coveted Cerifikitsch of Authenkitschity from the Allee Willis Museum of Kitsch & a spot in the permanent collection! You'll also find my old pal Spoony Squirrel over there, too.
